Froebel Stars

$11

with Terry Deane

Calendar Nov 6, 2019 at 6 pm

Learn to make a Froebel star, which originated in German folklore. Similar to origami, these three-dimensional creations are made by folding four strips of paper into lovely stars that can be used as ornaments, as bows for gifts or for any other creative purpose of your choosing. Stars made for ornaments are generally dipped in paraffin wax and sprinkled with fine glitter to make them sturdy and even more festive. Once you master the process, you’ll be hooked! Leave class with however many stars you can make, and additional strips of paper to make more at home. Paper provided will be enough to make 25 colorful stars.
