America's Boating Course

This Penobscot Bay Sail & Power Squadron Course is designed to familiarize the student with the fundamentals of safe boating and to qualify for certification in most states that require boating education before operating a watercraft.
We'll talk about safety equipment, trip planning, navigation rules and aids, state and federal regulations, anchoring, emergencies, communications, trailering and knots/lines.
A $10.00 Power Squadron Fee will be payable to the instructor.
The course book can be also purchased (optional)from the instructor for $26.00.

American Sign Language II

This new 6-week course will provide students with opportunities to practice more advanced conversational and fingerspelling skills. We'll also communicate in practical real-life contexts, increase vocabulary, improve ASL grammar skills, better understand facial expressions, improve fluency and build confidence.
Students should have previous experience in ASL.
This course is open to students 16 years of age and older,
Arctic Fox Paint Night

In this one-night, paint and sip style class, you will create and take home with you a lovely, dainty fox acrylic painting that will make a great addition to your wall.
Bring a coffee or tea; snacks will be provided.
A $15.00 materials fee will be payable to the instructor on the night of class.
Boho Blossoms Paint Night
with Obrianna Cornelius
In this one night paint and sip style class you will create an acrylic painting of a tangled design of colorful flowers. Feel free to improvise and choose your own colors while the instructor demonstrates the method.
Bring a coffee or tea with you; snacks will be provided.
A $15.00 materials fee will be payable to the instructor the night of class.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that includes many classic yoga poses as well as gentle stretches. Classic yoga poses are adapted so students don't have to get up and down off the floor or be able to balance on one foot. Poses are done sitting on a chair or standing behind the chair for support.
No yoga mat is required. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a small towel or blanket to sit on and a belt or scarf for stretches.
No yoga experience is required.
Colby College Art Museum

Please join us for a free one-hour tour of the Colby College Art Museum in Waterville. We'll explore a selection of the permanent art collection as well as Colby College's temporary exhibitions.
Transportation is provided on your own - find a group of friends and travel down together.

CPR Certification - Hampden

The AHA’s Heartsaver CPR-AED Course is a classroom, instructor-led one night class designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely and effective manner. Students will receive a Heartsaver CPR-AED course completion card, which is valid for two years.
The course fee includes the cost of the AHA certification card ($20).
