“Bright Star” - This is the third in the series of wool appliqué seasonal wall hangings. The blue seed background features the crow looking up at a tall snowman, with the north star in the sky. Several embellishments are included in the kit. Sharp shears are needed. Bring any Pearl Cotton threads or floss that you have, or purchase some from the instructor. Bring you lunch or order out. Class limit is 8.

There's a lot of confusion when it comes to creating a resume that gets you hired. This 3-week course will show you the basics of creating a resume that can be easily updated and adapted to fit any job or career requirements. Participants will get one on one support from the instructor, education regarding what types of resumes make it to the hiring manager's desk, and will workshop their resumes with their classmates. Participants will finish the course with a firm understanding of how to create a resume from scratch, or update an outdated one.

Winter Walking Club-Hampden
Too cold, dark and slippery outside to get a walk in? Join our indoor walking club. Start out at our drop-in center where you can sit down and change out of your boots, into a good pair of walking shoes. Stay on the ground level or challenge yourself by walking between the first and second floors. This is an independent program with no instruction provided.

Snowman Paint Night-Orono

The instructor is fun and easy to follow as she teaches you through creating your own painting. Come alone or invite friends, this is a perfect environment to flex your artistic muscles and have fun! This will be an acrylic painting of a friendly snowman. Feel free to improvise and choose your own colors while the teacher explains the method!
