Alcohol Ink Workshop

Alcohol ink is an alcohol-based pigment that is used to color non-porous surfaces such as glass, tile and metal. In this one-night, hands-on class, you will create and leave with at least two beautiful decorative tiles suitable to hang.

Feel free to bring with you your own clear glassware that you would like to decorate.

The course fee cover the cost of materials and tools.

Intro to Sewing Part 2 - Hampden

This course is open to the more experienced sewer or someone who has taken our earlier Intro to Sewing course. This class will continue with projects of learning darts, zippers and getting ready for summer outfits.

Introduction to Sewing - Orono

This 6 week class will appeal to the perso who is new to sewing, needs a refresher course, or who just wants to sew. We'll start with an introductory-level project and move on to more advanced projects.

Introduction project materials will be provided. Items needed for the first class include a sewing machine, scissors, pins, a measuring tape, seam paper, a 6" seam gauge ruler, and a marking pencil.

There are 3 sewing machines available to lend to folks if you need one.

Introduction to Stained Glass

In this 5-week class, you will learn how to make your own stained glass masterpiece using basic tools and supplies. You will choose your colors and select one of four beginner design projects to complete. In just five weeks, you will create and take home an attractive stained glass piece.

Participants must be 18 years old and older.

A $35.00 materials / kit fee will be payable directly to the instructor on the first night of class.

Parent & Me Sewing

Is your child interested in sewing? This new 3-week course is designed to introduce you and your child to your machine and to basic sewing.

The $77.00 course fee covers a parent and one child. There is an extra $25.00 per child fee.

Items needed for this course include: a sewing machine (we have a couple that we can lend you), a 6" gauge ruler, pins, scissors, and seam ripper measuring tape.

The class will run from 9:30 am to noon on May 6, 13 and 20.
