Froebel Star Making Class
with Terry Deane
In this one-night class, you will learn how to make a Froebel Star. Froebel Stars originated in German folklore. Similar to origami, these 3-dimensional creations are made by folding strips of paper into lovely stars that can be used as ornaments, bows for gifts or nay other creative purpose. Stars for ornaments are generally dipped in paraffin wax and sprinkled with fine glitter to make them sturdy and more festive.
Once you master the process, you'll be hooked! You'll leave the class with as many stars that you can make along with additional strips of paper to make more at home.
Bring the kids!
A $10.00 materials fee will be paid directly to the instructor the night of class if you want to use colored paper. No materials fee will be charged if you only want to use white paper.
