Make & Take Organic Spray - Orono

In this hands-on, one-night class, you will create your own organic spray blend and learn the importance of organic skincare and essential oils.

Your spray blend will be great to use on cars, clothes, skiln, pillows and rooms.

We'll also talk about the importance of organic skincare and the proper use of essential oils and come from reputable companies.

The $16.00 course fee includes the cost of all materials needed to create your organic spray.

 

One-Night Massage Workshop - Old Town

Massage therapy benefits are wide-ranging and can help with pain, tension, anxiety, stress, insomnia, poor circulation and lack of energy. 

People of all body types are welcome. Bring a yoga mat or blanket with you to class.

Stretch and strengthen every muscle with moves inspired by the best of Pilates and Yoga. It's a low impact but a high intensity workout.

If you have taken this course with us before, please register directly with the instructor. If you are new to this class, please register with adult education.

The class will meet initially at the McGraw School but will eventually move to Hampden Academy. 

 

 

Spring Bike Safety Check

Before you know it, spring will be here and it will be time to take it out of storage. Before you hop on, make sure that it's safe and ready to ride. This one-night, hands-on class will show you how to spot unsafe conditions so you can feel confident safe for your first ride of the season.

 

Strong Fitness Class

Stong Fitness combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move.

In this 8-week, one-hour class you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. You will need to bring water and a mat and wear comfortable clothes / shoes. 

This 8-week class is for new students only. If you have worked with Danielle in the past, you should register with her directly. If you are new to the class, register through adult education. 

The class will meet at the McGraw School initially but will move to Hampden Academy at a later date.

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Better Balance

The ancient art of Tai Chi can improve balance and confidence in walking, can help students relax and reduce levels of stress and tension and can provide you with a good workout. You’ll learn from and work with a certified Tai Chi instructor in this continuing, low impact fitness class.

Too cold, dark or slippery outside to get a walk in? Join our indoor walking club. You can stay at ground level or challenge yourself by walking up and down different levels. This is an idependent program - you'll walk at your own pace by yourself or with friends.
