Hampden Academy Fitness Center-Hampden
The fitness center is open for public use on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. You will need to fill out a fitness waiver and sign in and out each evening. This is not an instructed class, there will only be a supervisor on site.

This six week course is a gentle yoga class suitable for those who are new to yoga, as well as those who have a more developed practice. We will practice breathwork and meditation, and explore postures and movements to stretch our bodies and help relieve tension and stress.
Steel Mace Flow (TM) Fitness-Orono

An ancient weapon and training tool turned mainstream for modern-day fitness, the steel mace holds the power to build stability, core strength, balance, shoulder mobility and functional strength. Using the Steel Mace Flow (TM) System, participants will learn the structure and steps to move with 10 lb mace through a series of positions to create strong and beautiful flows. This unique fitness experience is both resistance training and artistic expression. Do something beautiful with your strength! Lighter weight steel and wooden maces will be available as well to make this strength art accessible to all levels.
Basic First Aid-Hampden

Basic first aid principles will be covered in this hands-on, one-night course. Topics include bleeding, shock, injuries, sudden illness and more. Students will receive an American Heart Association Heart Saver certificate after completing the course.
Cost: $55 (includes the cost of the cost of the certificate)

This one night course introduces immediate lifesaving principles to correct airway obstructions and cardiac arrest in adults, infants and children. Students will receive an American Heart Association Heart Saver certificate after successfully completing this course.

Join Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Jessica King, for a 3 week meditation exploration journey. If you are new to meditation or are looking to deepen your practice Jessica will help guide you toward your meditation goals. Each of the classes will build on the last allowing you to practice the skills you are learning each week. Come dressed comfortably with a pillow or cushion to sit on (or use a chair), a blanket or warm sweater is also nice.
