This one night paint and sip style class is intended for people who want a fun and creative evening out. The instructor is fun and easy to follow as she teaches you through creating your own painting. Come alone or invite friends, this is a perfect environment to flex your artistic muscles and have fun! This will be an acrylic painting of a hazy and misty island in the sea. Feel free to improvise and choose your own colors while the teacher explains the method!

Cost: $10 (plus materials fee of $15 paid directly to the instructor)

Get the most out of your digital camera and learn from an experienced professional photographer how to take great photographs during this 6- week class. Topics covered will be: Basic Photographic Concepts, Digital Photography’s Strengths and Weaknesses, Workflow from Camera to Print, Basic Adobe Photoshop Techniques and Long-Term Digital Image Storage. Students must have a camera that can be controlled manually. This can be a DSLR, mirrorless, or even a “point and shoot” camera as long as it has a manual exposure option. Students also need to understand computer basics - primarily how to create folders and move files.

The fun and fast paced class will keep you learning and challenged, while having fun. We will cover basic techniques such as color harmony, contrast, color values and light's relationship with color. Each week we will learn something new, and you will have a fun assignment to apply what you have learned! It will not be just color study, but we will apply your knowledge to actual paintings done in class and as homework.

DIY Maine Pack Basket (Backpack Style)-Old Town

 In this all day/8 hour class you will come in with no basket weaving knowledge and leave with an incredible pack-basket that you made yourself! The class size is limited so that the instructor may help everyone individually and ensure they leave with a beautiful and functional basket. Not only will you have a new creation, but you will also have the skills to make it again. Pack-baskets are traditionally used for ice fishing but can be used for picnics, laundry, hiking, gardening, you name it! Kits can be purchased at the class if you would like to make more than one. Sign up with your friends and join the fun!

Applique Class-"Wonderland"-Hampden

“Wonderland” - A doe is nestled in the evergreen trees of this wool appliqué 24” runner. The Delft blue background is perfect for the falling snow. Relax as you sew the hand embroidered stitches that compliment the appliqués. Sharp shears are required. Bring any Pearl Cotton threads or flocs you may have, or purchase some from the instructor. Bring your lunch or order out. Class is limited to 8.

Resin Jewelry Class - Hampden

We’ve all seen cool resin jewelry in shops and boutiques. In this class you will learn to make pendants, earrings, charms and more. Epoxy jewelry resins are durable, usually clear or translucent, resins that come in two parts. When the two parts are mixed together, the epoxy from a liquid to a solid. You may add, pictures, sand, glitter, mica, and more. Materials will be provided, but if you have small, interesting pictures or items you would like to add to your project, please bring them.

Cost: $10 (plus a $10 materials fee paid directly to instructor)
