In this 2 week course, the first class we will learn how to prepare Palak Paneer, which starts with preparing cottage cheese at home and using it with Spinach. This is a healthy, vegetarian dish and often a party favorite. We will prepare the companion sides for this dish. In the second class, we will learn how to prepare Gajar Halwa i.e., sweet carrot pudding as dessert and an Indian bread called Bhakri, which is made from an ancient grain called Jowar. Bhakri is a gluten-free flat bread that is healthy, fibrous and delicious. This is a hands-on cooking class. So come prepared to help out in the preparation and ask questions!
