3D Printing Workshop


with Chris Beckwith

Calendar Feb 8, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 2 weeks

This new 2-night class will guide you through the process of designing a 3D model and printing it on a 3D printer. We will discuss 3D printing options for your home and see the printers in action here in a classroom.

Bring your laptop or tablet, or use one of ours for this class.

A $5.00 materials fee will be payable to the instructor on the first night of class.

ACE Personal Trainer Course

Calendar Feb 5, 2018 at 3:30 pm, runs for 5 weeks

Participation in this 9-week course will give you the knowledge and skills needed to pass the ACE Personal Trainer Exam. The class will cover anatomy, physiology, training techniques, injury prevention, special populations and strategies for effective personal training.

The $77.00 fee covers the cost of the course only. If you wish to purchase the textbook as well, the cost of the course and books would be $180. Call our office (866-4119) if you wish to also purchase the textbooks for this class.


Advanced Sewing - Hampden

This 6-week class is designed for the person who has some sewing experience.

Students will purchase materials for your project and once you've decided what type of project you want to work on.

Bring a sewing basket to class and your sewing machine. We have three machines that we can lend out to students for this class.

This is a 45 hour, high school level U.S. History course.

There is no course fee for local residents taking this course to earn a high school diploma.

Archery for Beginners

Calendar Feb 13, 2018 at 5:30 pm, runs for 1 week

Interested in picking up the sport of archery, but don’t want to invest a lot of money before you find out more about it. This one-night course will provide you with an introduction to the basic skills, equipment and safety of archery so that you can decide if you want to continue with this popular sport.

This clinic will take place in an indoor range and is open to students 15 years and older.



Baby Sitting Course

Calendar Mar 10, 2018 at 9 am, runs for 1 week

Participation in this one-day workshop will help you learn how to be a safe, professional and reliable sitter. You’ll also learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep yourself and others safe and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.

This training is designed for youths ages 11-16.

Students who successfully complete the course will earn a Red Cross Certificate.

Participants should bring snacks and a lunch with you to this class.



Backyard Maple Syrup

This course is designed for the hobbyist who wants to learn techniques for safe and efficient maple syrup production in your own back yard. In this one-night class, we talk about when to tap, what equipment you'll need, what the correct temperature should be, what happens to the tree and how do you turn sap into syrup.


Basic Computer Skills Lab

In this 6-week course, students will be introduced to the essential skills needed to work with Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. This course is designed for the beginner to intermediate student. Instruction will be individalized to meet each student's ability level and specific needs.
